Banquet Weekend
October 04-05, 2013
Now is the time to start
making plans to attend the 102nd Anniversary of Winslow High
School and enjoy the special weekend that
is planned. Your mailing of the information should
be coming soon. For those wanting to make hotel
reservations at the Holiday Inn Airport, Evansville and
get a reduced rate of $80.00 plus taxes per room ($92)
we have a link to the hotel and you can make your
reservations online or by calling their telephone

Golf Outing
at Prides Creek Oct 4, 2013
The event begins at 8:00 AM
EDT. The cost is $30.00 payable at the course and
includes 18 holes of golf and cart rental. Ladies
and men invited to sign up. A registration form
will be included in the mailing by the alumni along with
the banquet information or you can contact Jim Dickerson

Alumni Luncheon group will be on June 21, 2013 (third Friday of
month) at Wolf's Barbecue, 6600 First Ave,
Evansville, IN 47710.

luncheons will now start at 11:30 AM CDT instead

enjoy the paintings of Bus Erwin. All WHS Alumni

The Pike County
Community Foundation
has announced that Ethan
Rolens was selected as the Winslow High School
Alumni Association Scholarship Recipient for 2013.
Ethan plans to attend IUPUI and study occupational
therapy. The Winslow High School Alumni Association
Scholarship is making a difference in Pike County
for their commitment to post secondary education
and to the future of the community.

The Winslow Eskimos from Winslow High School,
Winslow, Indiana have been around since 1911 and were in existence
until end of school year 1974. Beginning school year 1975 Winslow was
consolidated along with all the other high schools in Pike County, Indiana into
Pike Central High School. Pike Central is located 4 miles
north of Winslow, Indiana. Many former Winslow Eskimo
children, grand-children, etc now attend Pike Central. There
also is a Winslow Elementary School still in Winslow and a feeder school
for Pike Central. |
