Arthur, IN - Marjorie E. Thorne Riester, 62, of Brazil, In, formerly of Arthur, died Saturday, Feb 10, 2007 at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.  She was born in Spurgeon, IN to Jay and Agnes (Julkenbeck) Thorne.

She had retired from Hansen Manufacturing Co., and was a member of the Center Point United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Reister; two sons, Matt Reister, of Phoenix, AZ and Joey Reiter, of Brazil, IN; a sister, Ruth Pollard, of Kokomo, IN; seven brothers, Calvin Theiring, of Boonville, IN, Paul Theiring of Madison, IN, Kenneth Theiring, of Oakland City, IN, Robert Theiring, of Cabat, Ark., James Thorne, of Oakland City, IN, Tom Thorne and Ronald Thorne of Winslow, IN.

Funeral services will be a 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb 13, 2007 at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home, in Oakland City, IN, with burial in the Blackfoot Cemetery, near Spurgeon.   Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. until service time Tuesday, Feb 12, 2007 at the funeral home.
