Concert Band - Sept 29, 1923

It is thought this photo was taken, judging from the flooring and the
backdrop, on the stage of the old Community Building. The snare drummer
(holding drum sticks) sitting on the floor on the left side, front row is
Woodson Cooper. Seated on floor at the far right is Bill Farley with
clarinet beside him. Seated in the chairs and sixth from the left is
Clarence "Skip" Barnett, eighth from the left seated holding the
saxophone is Gilbert "Gib" Stinson. The first trombonist
standing on the left is Sammy Blair, next to him the second trombonist is Elwood
"Red" Smith. The fourth trombonist is Lawrence
"Barney" Barnett. Fifth from left standing, with bass horn, is
James "Jim" Stinson. The photo was taken September 29,
