| Kenneth David "Dave" Frederick, 61, of
Oakland City, IN died Sunday, November 5, 2006 at 10:30 p.m., at
Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
He was born in Indianapolis, June 14, 1945, the son of Kenneth
Scott and Lois Eileen (Morris) Frederick. He was a member of the
Oakland City Eagles Lodge, Oakland City Country Club, and American
Legion Post 256 in Oakland City, IN.
He had worked for Old Ben Coal for 22 years, Casino Aztar for
seven years, and was recently manager of the Oakland City Country Club.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, the former Jeannie Gowen, a
son, Ray Frederick of Oakland City, a brother, Wayne Frederick of
Winslow and two grand children.
Funeral services were Thursday, November 9, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Lamb
Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City with Rev. Matt Malin officiating
with burial in Montgomery Cemetery. Visitation was from 3 to 8
p.m. Wednesday, November 8 and from 8 a.m. until services on Thursday at
the Chapel. |
