Bob Hunt Visits Indiana
Basketball Hall of Fame
Saturday August 9, 2008,
Bob Hunt and his wife Bette visited the Hall of
Fame and while there donated his autographed
basketball with the names of former basketball
players, cheerleaders, student managers and
coaches who earned a varsity letter in basketball
or coached at Winslow High School.

Bob also delivered the items that Marcia Curtis
donated, namely, Clayton Curtis' honor sweater; a
framed picture of Jim Vinyard as a player at W.H.S.;
a framed picture of W.H.S. basketball player
Robert "Red" Smith; a license plate
attachment of a a Winslow Eskimos; an Eskimos
badge; and other miscellaneous items. Bob
also donated a pencil from Switz City High School
on which the 1939-1940 basketball schedule was
printed. The curator was quite appreciative
of the donated items which will be on display in
the near future. The Hall of Fame has so
many items they have to rotate to allow donated
items to be displayed a limited amount of time.
The Hall of Fame is open seven days a week. |
