Paul Eugene Julian,
79, of Evansville, Ind., passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2005, at his
residence.
Paul was born in
Spurgeon, Ind., on January 23, 1925.He was a 1943 graduate of Winslow High
School and a 1950 graduate of Evansville College.Paul was a United States
Navy Air Corps veteran.Paul worked for the Internal Revenue Service from
1950 until 1980 where he retired after 30 years of service.Paul became a
Certified Public Accountant in 1983 and maintained a CPA and
tax-consultation practice.He enjoyed watching sports and playing games on
the computer. He also enjoyed traveling, fishing and woodworking.
He is survived by his
wife of 13 years,Carol M. LaCrosse Julian, Evansville, Ind.;
children,Michael Julian and his wife, Diana, Evansville, Ind., and their
children, Jessalyn and Michaela; Jennifer Wuchner and her husband, Glenn,
Evansville, Ind., and their children, Emily, Rebekah and Rachel; Daniel
Julian and his wife, Debbie, Indianapolis, Ind., and their children,
William, Timothy and Seth; Ellen Julian, Evansville, Ind.; Suzette Bloomer
and her husband, Raymond, Terre Haute, Ind., and their children,
Katherine, Jeffrey and Bethany; Anthony Julian and his wife, Amanda,
Rochester, Minn., and their children, Anthony II, Andrew and Anne;
stepchildren,Cindy LaCrosse, Evansville, Ind.; Keith LaCrosse and his
wife, Linda, Evansville, Ind., and their children, Amanda and Bryan; Bob
LaCrosse and his wife, Robin, Evansville, Ind., and their children, Rachel
and Ryan; Brian LaCrosse, Evansville, Ind.; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Paul was preceded in
death by his parents, Evart and Belma (Tevault) Julian and his first wife
of 43 years, Doris Ruth Rauscher.
Funeral services were
held at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 24, 2005, at Browning Funeral Home, 738
Diamond Ave., with Rev. Jeff Buck officiating.
Friends could call
from 3 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 23, 2005, at Browning Funeral Home.
