Lester M. McQueen, 82, passed away Wednesday, April 23,
2008 at his residence in Winslow, Ind.
Lester was born October 8, 1925, in Winslow, Ind., to Charles and Myra
Martin McQueen. He was a graduate of Winslow High School Class of
1944. He married Dorothy Farris on December 24, 1948. He was a
carpenter and was a WWII Navy Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy McQueen, of
Winslow, his daughter, Tamara McQueen of Winslow.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a
daughter, Twila McQueen.
There was a graveside service Saturday, April 26,
2008 at 2:30 p.m. Pike County time at the Oak Hill Cemetery in
Winslow. There was NO Visitation. Arrangements are being
handled by the Curtis Funeral Home in Winslow.
