WINSLOW — William "Bill" Morris, 74,
of Winslow, IN died Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 8:17 p.m. at
Beverly Living Center in Petersburg.
He was born in Terre Haute, IN June 26,
1932, the son of William Patrick and Muriel Dunnichay
Morris. He married the former Phyllis Weber and she
survives.
Bill was a graduate of Winslow High
School in the Class of 1951. Morris had worked as a
Regional Sales Manager for Havens Steel Company. He
was a member of Petersburg First United Methodist Church and
a member of VFW #3587 in Petersburg.
Surviving besides his wife, Phyllis,
are three sons, Jeff Morris of Ft. Wayne, Greg Morris of
Cincinnati, OH, and Michael Morris of Philadelphia, PA; and
11 grandchildren.
Two sisters, Josephine Tryon and
Norvelle Kissel preceded him in death.
Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m.
Monday, June 25, 2007 at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg
with Pastor Paul Newton officiating. Burial was in the
Public Iva Cemetery, Otwell. Graveside military rites
were conducted by VFW Post 3587 of Petersburg.
