| William Wallace Corn, Dittmer, Mo, 79,
formerly of Pike County, Indiana, died Sunday April 06, 2003 at his
residence.
He was born in Gibson County January 24, 1924, the
son of Andrew Sampson and Mary Jane Nolan Corn. He was a graduate of
Winslow High School, Class of 1943.
He married the former Inez Willis and she preceded
him in death. Also, his son, William Ronald died in 1989.
William worked for Chrysler Corporation in Indiana
and moved to Missouri to help start the Fenton Assembly Plant. he
also worked for Amoco Oil Company, and owned and operated several mobile
home parks in Jefferson County.
Surviving are his wife of 25 years, the former Bettie
J Bishop; his children, Donna J. Zierenberg of Dittmer, MO; and Mrs Steve
(Janet Lynn) Murdick of House Springs, MO; his stepchildren, Mrs Albert
(Madonna E.) Schrameyer of DeSoto, MO and Bruce W. Valle of DeSoto, MO;
two sisters, Virginia Young of Winslow and Ruth Miller of Wabash; a
brother, Darrell Corn of Oakland City, IN; nine grandchildren and 10 grea-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday, April 9, 2003 at 2
p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill, MO with Rev. Wayne Kuenzle
officiating. Burial was at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Cedar Hill,
MO.
