Somerville, IN - Wallace William "Bill" Earle Sr., 65, of
Oakland City, Ind, passed away Friday, June 05, 2009 at his home. Bill
was born April 06, 1944. He
was a part owner of Parkview Sales and BB&D Transport. Bill was
an Army veteran serving in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot. He
achieved the rank of First Class Captain. He was a graduate of
Winslow High School, Class of 1962, a life member of VFW Post 2953, River
Bend Association and a life member of the Winslow High School Alumni
Association. He enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, hunting and
fishing and dancing. Bill was a loving family man who liked to
travel. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Barbara Earle of
Oakland City, daughters, Felicia Earle of Evansville, Judy (Craig) Johnson
of Newburg, sons, Jonathon (Joyce) Earle of Oakland City, David Jenkins of
Mt. Carmel, Ill., Eric (Missy) Jenkins of Benton, Ky, Wallace William
"Billy" Earle Jr of Evansville; brothrs Jim (Carol) Earle of
Oklahoma, John (Anita) Earle of Oklahoma, David Earle of California;
brother-in-law, Gordy Morrison, sister-in-law, Tammy Morrison;
grandchildren, Laura Earle, whom he raised, Matthew Earle, Patty Lynn
Oldham, John Waters, William Waters, DeVonte Earle, Alexander Eastwood,
Shawn Eastwood, Lee Anne Eastwood, Jamie Jenkins, Zachary D. Jenkins,
Michael Carr, Amber Carr, Christina Earle, Breanna Schaeffer, Zachary D.
Earle, Erica, Nicholas and Brooklyn Jenkins, Reagan Wilham, Breyden
Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Zachary Wallace, Breyden and Jayden

life-long friends, Vicky (Pete) Hamilton, Berlin (Jo) Masterson and Pat
(Danny) Fitzgerald. He was preceded in death by daughter,
Virginia "Ginny" Earle, parents Beauton (Enlow), Oscar Earle;
brothers, Charles Earle, Larry Earle; grandchild, Wesley Weese, and
great-grandchild, Chris Wilham. Visitation will be Wednesday,
June 10, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 2:00
p.m. - 8:00 pm at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave. Funeral services will be at 10
a.m. Friday, June 12, 2009 at Browning Funeral Home, Evansville with Rev. Jarmen Perkins officiating. Burial will be at
Memorial Park Cemetery where the Retired Veterans Memorial Club will
conduct military rites. Memorial Contributions may be made to the
Winslow High School Alumni Association.
