| Terry Wayne Ennis, 59, went to be with the Lord on
Saturday, December 19, 2009, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Washington, Indiana, June 19, 1950, the son of Alvin
Hume Ennis and Betty June (Ross) Ennis, of Winslow, Indiana. He
married Debra Harris, on August 2, 1986, and she survives.
Terry was born and raised in Pike County, and attended schools in
Winslow. He relocated to Florida i 1972 where he has worked as a
self-employed contractor for many years. He was a devoted husband,
father, and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Ennis, and an infant
son.
Surviving family members are his wife of 23 years, Debra Ennis;
mother, Betty Ennis of Petersburg, IN; sons, Timothy Ennis of Winslow, IN,
Troy (Kelly) Ennis of Union, IN, Chance (Dawn) Ennis of Florida; and
daughter, Terri Lynn Ennis of Florida. Grandchildren; Christopher
Ennis of Florida, Tyler Ennis of Union, IN; and T.J. Ennis of Vincennes,
IN; brother, Paul (Paula) Ennis of Winslow, IN; sisters, Helen (Jim)
Harrell of Petersburg, IN and Vickie (Phillip) Smith of Bellmont, IL.
A Celebration of Life was conducted on Sunday, December 27, 2009
at 2:00 p.m. (EST) at the Rumbletown Free Methodist Church, 1385 N State
Road 57, Petersburg, IN with Rev. James Harrell officiating. All
family and friends invited to attend. A meal will be served in
his honor.
