| Winslow, Ind. --- Juanita Fisher, 86, of Winslow, passed
away Saturday, January 30, 2010, at the Amber Manor Care Center in
Petersburg, Indiana.
She was born March 22, 1923, in Oakland City, Ind. to Joe and Bertha
Jones Tisdale. Juanita was a Alumni of Winslow High School, Class of
1941. She married Carol D. "Pee Wee" Wood, July 18,
1942, he passed away June 20, 1987. She then married Russell E.
Fisher and he passed away July 27, 2008. Juanita was a beautician
and belonged to the Winslow G.B. Church and the Winslow Lions Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Diana (Doug) Foster, of Winslow,
Ind.; a son, Mike (Sharon) Wood of Owensboro, Ky.; 5 grandchildren; 13
great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; a brother. Arber Tisdale;
and a sister, Marilou Tisdale.
Funeral services were Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. EST
at the Curtis Funeral Home in Winslow, Indiana, with Rev Charles Baxter
officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Winslow,
Indiana. Visitation was February 1, 2010 from 3 to 8 p.m.
EST at the funeral home with a Lions Club Service at 6 p.m. EST.
