Priscilla Lashbrook Hall

Priscilla Faye (Lashbrook) Hall
Winslow Alumni Class of 1962
May 20, 2009

Priscilla Faye (Lashbrook) Hall, 65, of Munford, Tennessee, and Nashville, Tennessee passed away peacefully from this life on May 20, 2009, following an extended illness.

Priscilla was born February 02, 1944 in Monon, Indiana.  Her father was a Presbyterian minister, and her mother was a homemaker.  Both of her parents were natives of Orange County, Indiana.  Priscilla attended Pike County schools in Petersburg and Winslow, and graduated from Winslow High School, Winslow, Indiana, Class of 1962.

Following high school graduation, she began a career in banking, first at Petersburg, Indiana, and later at Chicago, Illinois.  She attended Indiana University and Tidewater Community College, from which she earned a degree in banking and finance. While working in the Chicago area, she was introduced by a mutual friend to her future husband, David.   She had a lengthy career in banking prior to her nearly eleven years as an employee of the International Paper Company.

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, retired U.S. Navy Captain David W. Hall, who was at her side at the time of her death.  Also surviving are her three children, Alesia Rene Hall Sharman, Glen William Hall, and David Lawrence Hall, her god-daughter, Jackie Ramsay, her grandson, Lake Hall Sharman, and her great-goddaughter, Azura Ramsay.  She is also survived by her sister, Martha Hamilton, and by several nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.  She is also survived by a team of compassionate and loving co-workers at International Paper.  She was preceded in death by her parents, William Lee Lashbrook and Ruth Hamilton Lashbrook, and by her brother, William (Billy) Lashbrook.

Immediate arrangements are pending and will be private.  Arrangements for a memorial service to honor her memory and celebrate her life are also pending.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Priscilla's memory to the Sarah cannon Research Institute, the Minnie Pearl Foundation, or the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation.
