Ruth E. (Edrington) Hatfield, 73, of Winslow, IN entered rest on Thursday,
July 16, 2009 at 9:35 a.m. at Good Samaritan Home in Oakland City, IN.
She was born September 14, 1935 in Arthur, IN to Albert and
Zella (Ragle) Edrington. She was a member of the Arthur General
Baptist Church and was a graduate of Winslow High School, Class of 1953. Ruth
was preceded in death by brothers, Roy, Pearl, and Clement Edrington and
sisters Bertha Rhodes, Mary White and Mildred Edrington.
Surviving family members are husband, Henry Hatfield; sister Golda
Brothers of Evansville, IN; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral
services will be Sunday, July 19, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. EDT at Arthur General
Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Beadles officiating. Visitation will
be from 1:00 p.m. EDT until services on Sunday at the church. Burial
will be in Sunset Cemetery in Winslow, IN. Lamb-Basham Memorial
Chapel in Oakland City, IN is in charge of arrangements. The
family requests that memorial contributions maybe given to Arthur General
Baptist Church. |
