| Gordon L. Henning, 73, of Fort Branch, Indiana passed
away at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana on Friday, August
19, 2011. He was born to the late Ivan and Lillian (Griffith)
Henning on May 30, 1938 in Augusta, Indiana.
Gordon was a graduate of Winslow High School, Class of 1956.
He retired from the Maintainance Department of the Alcoa Plant in Warrick
County. He was a member of the Fort Branch Masonic Lodge #696.
Gordon was a true craftsman and man of many talents.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judy (Winland) Henning and 4
children; Kim Hagan of Evansville, IN, Lisa Henning of Henderson , KY,
Kristy Keith of Owensville, IN, and Tony Henning of Fort Branch, IN; a
brother Tim Henning of Fort Branch, IN; a sister, Melba Russell of
Fordsville, KY. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Brandon and
Brian Hagan, Cody Keith, Leah Helsley, and Ashby Henning.
A memorial service celebrating Gordon's life will be on Wednesday,
August 24, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Stodgill Funeral Home located on Hwy
168 West in Fort Branch, IN. Burial will be at a later date, a
visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until service time, Wednesday, at the
funeral home.
