| George Isaac Mullins, 73, of Avon,
Indiana, died May 6, 2009.
He was born February 15, 1936 in Winslow, Indiana, to
William Guy and Mary Mullins. He was a graduate of Winslow
High School, Class of 1954.
He was owner and carpenter for Mullins Frame Works,
Inc. Mr. Mullins served in the U.S. Army and was a member of
Avon Post #145 American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Donna L. Williams
Mullins; son, Robert A. (Aissa) Mullins; daughter, Anita J. Cox; sister,
Edna Lottrell; grandchildren, Reggie A. and Seth I. Blizzard, Charles g.
Talley, Joshua I. Mullins, Jennifer L. Mullins and Robert A. Mullins and
five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Mullins is preceded in death by his parents and
several brothers and sisters.
A Memorial service was held at 7 p.m. Friday, May 8,
2009 at Conkle Funeral Home, Avon Chapel, with calling there from 4 p.m.
until the time of service.
