Harry Earl Nelson, 73, of Oakland, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, April 01, 2009.   He was born on November 8, 1935 to Dorothy and Howard Nelson of Winslow, Indiana.   

He was a graduate of Winslow High School, Class of 1954 and a member of the Winslow Eskimos sectional and regional championship basketball team of 1954.

He had lived in Columbus, IN and Princeton, IN before moving to Oakland, AR.

He is survived by his wife Jan Nelson,  Oakland, Arkansas; three sons, Rusty Nelson, Tim Nelson, and Joe Nelson; his mother, Dorothy Nelson and sister, Sally Kimbley.   He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Nelson.
