Winslow, Indiana - Phyllis Anne Miley Price, 74, died
at 2:15 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010 at her residence. She was
born at Winslow, Indiana, September 25, 1935, to Pearl and Lucy (Miley)
Miley. She married Robert Price, May 27, 1944 and he survives. She
worked as an LPN for 27 years prior to her retirement from Gibson General
Hospital in Princeton, Indiana. Surviving besides her husband,
Robert, are a son, Stephen Price of Petersburg, Indiana; a daughter,
Andrea Quick of Columbus, Indiana; two sisters, Marylyn Norrington of
Linton, IN and Mildred Minehart of Vacaville, CA; three grand children,
Meagan Malone, Tyler Quick, and Hilary Price; and two great-grandchildren,
matte Malone and Oscar Malone. Her parents, two brothers, Charles
Miley and George Miley, and a sister, Mary Goerlitz preceded her in death. A
Mass was conducted at 10:00 a.m. EDT Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Blessed
Sacrament Catholic Church in Oakland City with Fr. Ronald Zgunda
officiating. Private burial will be at a later date.
Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. EDT Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Harris
Funeral Home in Petersburg, Indiana. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice, Vincennes, Indiana. |
