Sandra Jane (Inman)
Reinbold, 75, of Seymour, IN passed away at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, June 19,
2010, at Schneck Medical in Seymour. Sandra
was born in Princeton, IN on April 25, 1935 to Clarence and Imogene
(Nance) Inman. She graduated from Winslow
High School in 1953. Sandra graduated with honors from Indiana
University with a bachelor and master's degrees in Elementary
Education. She moved to Seymour in 1957 and began a teaching career
at Washington Elementary. She moved to Riley Elementary and retired
in 1998 after more than twenty years teaching fourth grade at Brwon
Elementary. Some of her greatest joys were the connections she made
with her students. Sandra remembered all of her students, could
recall vivid details about each of them, years after they had left her
classroom. Sandra was a 50 year, active
member of First Baptist Church, Seymour. Additionally she was a
member of Tri-Kappa and happily volunteered with the Jackson County Fair
for more than 20 years. On November 23,
1961, Sandra married Marion B. Reinbold of Seymour, who survives.
Sandra is also survived by her two children, Betsy Jane Reinbold, a
nursing student in Bloomington, IN and Lieutenant Commander, Douglas
Marion Reinbold, a Naval officer currently stationed in Newport, RI. Sandra
is also survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Karen (Inman) and Paul G.
Cooper of Otwell, IN; a brother, Paul Inman of Velpen, IN and a
brother-in-law, Dr. John C. Reinbold, of San Diego, CA. Other
survivors include nephews, John Reinbold Jr, Barry Cooper, Bart Cooper,
nieces, Elizabeth (Reinbold) Hatch and Leslie (Reinbold) Cervantes and
several great nieces and nephews. Funeral
service for Sandra were held Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at
Voss Chapel, Seymour, IN, with Rev. Bruce Cochran officiating. Friends
called Monday, June 21, 2010 from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, June 22,
2010 after 9 a.m. until time of service at Voss chapel. The
family requests that donations be given, in lieu of flowers, to the
Margaret R. Brown Fund which assists Seymour community School children in
need, or to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements
are under the careful directions of Voss & Sons Funeral Service and
Tri-County Crematory, Seymour, IN.
