Glezen, IN - Terry Wayne
"Boat" Vickers, 53, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at
Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Terry
was born Jan 05, 1956, in Oakland City, IN, the son of Lewis and Thelma
Jean (Glenn) Vickers. He was a
graduate of Winslow High School, Class of 1974. He
was self-employed as a disc jockey and karaoke ooperator. Survivors
include his wife, Tracey, children, Toby Nelson and Joe Vickers of
Winslow, Stacey Hill of Petersburg, Joshua and Jamie Abell at home.
Tonya Vickers; brothers, Denny, Rick and Scott Vickers all of
Petersburg. Ron and Tim Vickers of Glezen, David Vickers of
Montgomery; and sister Tracy Shoultz of Shelbyville, Ky. He
was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, James Vickers. A
private service for immediate family took place and there were no formal
services. The family will host a celebration of his life at 5 p.m.,
July 5, 2009 at Hornady Park in Petersburg, IN. All friends and
family are welcomed. Aaron
