| Martena Joy Willis Young, 69, of Oakland City, Indiana,
passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at Charlier Hospice Center in
Evansville, Indiana
Born February 7, 1939 in Pike County, she was the daughter of James
and Jannie (Seatto) Willis.
She retired after 30 years service from Wirth Regional Hospital,
Oakland City in medical records.
Survivors include daughter, Michelle Besing, of Oakland City; son,
Mitch Young of Oakland City; stepdaughter's, Tammy Griffith of Wappapello,
MO., Vickie Hill of Petersburg, Beth Young of Evansville; sister, Barbara
Gillie of Oakland City; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Raymond Young in June 2007.
Funeral services were Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Lamb-Basham Memorial
Chapel in Oakland City with the Rev. Darin D. Nossett officiating.
Burial was in Sunset Cemetery in Winslow, Indiana. Visitation
was at 10 a.m. until time of service at the chapel.
