Dispatch Printing Office - Winslow, Indiana
| Pictured above is the Winslow Office of
the Press Dispatch. At one time this was the printing and
publishing office of the Pike County Dispatch/Press Dispatch and the
newspaper was prepared, printed and distributed from this location.
It was started by A.J. Heuring, and ran by his son, Frank Heuring and
Frank's wife Beulah. Later Frank Heuring, Jr and wife Rachel
along with Beulah Heuring ran this business in Winslow for many years back
into the 50's as a newspaper publishing plant and printing
office. Today they are joined by John and Andy Heuring and the
offices are now located in Petersburg, Indiana. The Press
Dispatch is one of the most outstanding weekly newspapers in the state of
Indiana. This location is on the NE corner of N. Main and E.
Lafayette, Winslow, Indiana. |
