A page from the past.....  WHS Sandlot Baseball 1947    

Remember back when the Winslow High School baseball players played baseball on the front lawn of the school?   Home plate was located in the upper right of the picture and the boys lined up in the outfield to catch or field fly-balls.   This photo was taken sometime around 1947.   Also note the old basketball goal that sat in front of the old grade school building.   Barely visible, just a corner of the building in the left foreground was the old music and shop building.
