| Dorothy Nelson, WHS Alumni Class of 1935 was
the oldest Alumni attending the Oct 31, 2009 WHS Triennial Alumni
Banquet.
The Triennial Banquet was held this year at the
Marriott, on Hwy 41, north of Evansville, Indiana this year.
It was a enjoyed by over 260 Alumni and friends.
President Phil Pirkle welcomed the guests at 6 p.m., presented a
short program, reports from committees, had a roll call of classes,
and a 30 minutes slide show of Winslow and Winslow High School.
After the banquet which was served with 2 double serving lines.
The large banquet room was set up with tables of 10 and the dance
floor was well placed in the corner for later use for those that
wanted to dance and enjoy the Duke Boys again. Social period
in the afternoon was from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., continuing as other
guests arrived until the 6 p.m. banquet. |
